Routebeschrijving

The Medical Art Clinic (formerly the Botoxcenter) is housed in a restored warehouse near the MAS (Museum Aan de Stroom), in the area of Het Eilandje, close to the motorway exit. We are very easily reached, both from Belgium and the Netherlands. Ample parking facilities are available.

Coming by car

Coming from the Netherlands Breda (E19)-Bergen op Zoom (A12):

Get onto the Antwerp ring-road (R1/Ring 1)
Take the first exit: exit 1 (Antwerpen-Centrum, Merksem).
Turn right at the end of the slip road (Groenendaallaan).
300 m further on you will come to a major intersection with traffic lights (Esso petrol station and Boels Verhuur). Go straight on.
You will now pass the Kinepolis cinema on your right.
At the next traffic lights turn left over the bridge.
Immediately after the bridge you will come to some traffic lights (on your right you will see a restaurant called "het pomphuis"). Turn left here.
After about 500 m you will cross over a bridge called the 'Mexicobrug' (formerly the 'Oude Havenbrug'). Now follow a cobbled street for 500 m until you come to the crossroads with Londenstraat (also a cobbled street).
Go straight on at the crossroads onto Bordeauxstraat (you will see a café/eatery called Blend on your right).
50 m further on you will come to the marina. Turn right here (Napoleonkaai).
Turn right again after another 50 m (Verbindingsdok-Oostkaai)

Coming from Turnhout (E34)-Hasselt (E313)-Brussels (E19):

Get onto the Antwerp ring-road (R2/Ring 2), direction: Breda.
Stay on the ring-road, direction: Breda.
Take exit no.1 (Merksem): this is the exit immediately after the 'Sportpaleis' bridge.
Take the left fork (haven 1-199, Merksem, metropolis)
At the end of the slip road follow the road to the right (Groenendaallaan).

Coming from Ghent (E17):

Stay on the E17, direction: Antwerp
Get into the left-hand lane when you pass the Texaco petrol station at Kruibeke.
After 5 km turn left, direction: R1/Ring 1, Haven 500-2000, Rotterdam.
After another 1 km turn right, taking exit 7 (Antwerpen-Linkeroever).
Keep going straight on for another 2 km. When you get to the second set of traffic lights, take the Waaslandtunnel (straight ahead).
At the other end the tunnel of you will come to another set of traffic lights.
Turn left into the middle lane: you are now on the 'Italielei'.
200 m further on, after the next set of traffic lights, get into the right-hand lane (haven 1,2,63,75,77,...,915)
After another 50 m you will come to more traffic lights ( with Londontower, BNP Paris Bas Fortis and a Porsche garage on the corner). Turn left here.
You are now on Londenstraat, which crosses over into a cobbled street.
200 m further on you will come to a crossroads of 2 cobbled streets. Turn left here into Bordeauxstraat (you will see a café/eatery called Blend on your right ).
50 m further on you will come to the marina. Turn right here (Napoleonkaai).
Turn right again after another 50 m (Verbindingsdok-Oostkaai)

Coming by public transport

Take the train to Antwerpen-Centraal railway station.
Leave the station via the left-hand exit to Pelikaanstraat.
From here you can walk, take the bus or come by taxi.

1. It takes about 25 minutes on foot (2 km).

From the Central Station take the main shopping street, the Keyserlei.
After 250 m (at the third set of traffic lights) turn right onto Frankrijklei.
Keep going straight on (the Frankrijklei crosses over into the Italielei).
After another 1,500 m (at the seventh set of traffic lights) you will come to a crossroads with the Londontower and a Porsche garage on the corner. Turn left onto Londenstraat.
200 m further on (just before the Londenbrug bridge), turn left onto Verbindingsdok-Oostkaai.

2. By bus (lines 1 or 13): there is a bus every 10 minutes. The ticket costs 2 euros.

From the Central Station take the main shopping street the Keyserlei.
250 m further on (at the third set of traffic lights) turn right onto Frankrijklei.
As you turn the corner you will see the bus stop. You can take either line 1 (direction: Eilandje) or line 13 (direction: Eilandje)
Get off at the fifth stop: Londenstraat
Walk along Londenstraat for about 150 m until you get to the Londenbrug bridge.
Turn left just before you get to the bridge.

3. It takes about 5 minutes by taxi and costs around 10 euros.

There is a taxi rank at the Pelikaanstraat exit of the Central Station.
